SQL/PL Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for creating new features and enhancing existing functionalities for 85% of the allocated time as per the budget table.

• Tasked with addressing client requirements and priorities, ensuring alignment with the budget table and the company’s strategic objectives.

• Responsible for analyzing the functional specifications, engaging in discussions, and proposing the technical implementation strategy to the senior analyst or leadership.

• Expected to execute development in accordance with established technical and governance standards, recommending changes when necessary.

• In charge of support tasks: rectifying bugs in programs and components, generating scripts for database modifications, assessing the potential impact of issues on client operations, and informing the business analyst and/or leadership for client communication.

• Contribute to project and support planning to clarify assigned tasks, sharing insights or suggesting actions that facilitate project completion.

• Adhere to agreed timelines for tasks, notifying leadership in advance if deadlines are likely to be affected.

• Develop unit tests (TDD).

• Create documentation and evidence of the development work undertaken.

• Assist in the deployment/implementation of the system/module at the client.

• Offer technical support and/or train new developers on development tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient understanding of programming logic.

• Advanced expertise in SQL.

• Knowledge of C# is preferred.

• Basic familiarity with Visual Studio.

• Preferred knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• If applicable, the following will be advantageous:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in English.
