VP, Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Lead the engineering function in Adelaide, establishing the technical direction.

• Take ownership of the engineering strategy and oversee daily operations.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Data Science, and executive teams.

• Manage and provide mentorship to engineering managers.

• Ensure that systems adhere to reliability and quality standards.

• Facilitate prioritization trade-offs among engineering teams.

• Recruit, guide, and maintain a high-performing engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 10 years of progressive experience in engineering.

• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives from architecture to production.

• Experience in designing and managing scalable systems, services, and data infrastructure.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven success in recruiting and retaining senior engineering talent.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or PhD preferred.
