WordPress Developer – Fixed-Term Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Transition new Figma designs into our current WordPress website.

• Create pixel-perfect, responsive pages that faithfully represent the approved designs.

• Modify existing WordPress themes or craft custom components as necessary.

• Ensure compatibility with modern browsers and devices.

• Enhance website performance, loading speed, and Core Web Vitals.

• Apply SEO best practices throughout the development process.

• Elevate website accessibility and overall user experience.

• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and resolve bugs prior to deployment.

• Produce clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

• Collaborate with designers and fellow developers throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.

• Strong expertise in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.

• Demonstrated experience in converting Figma designs into WordPress websites.

• Proficiency in custom WordPress theme development and customization.

• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles.

• Experience in optimizing WordPress websites for performance and SEO.

• Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Gutenberg, or Elementor is a plus.

• Proficient in using Git or other version control systems.

• Effective communication skills in English.

• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating within a remote team.
