Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver Android features utilizing Kotlin.

• Design intuitive mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to streamline intricate user journeys.

• Integrate backend APIs while ensuring mobile flows are stable, secure, and reliable.

• Enhance app performance, reduce crash rates, improve loading states, responsiveness, and memory efficiency.

• Leverage analytics, user behavior, and production issues to refine the product.

• Create AI-enhanced mobile experiences only when they significantly enhance the user journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Android development with Kotlin.

• Solid understanding of Android fundamentals and a track record of launching production apps.

• Proficient in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architecture.

• Strong awareness of mobile UX, usability, edge cases, and user flows.

• Experience with integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production issues.

• Quick execution, high accountability, and a keen eye for product quality.

• Having app links, GitHub profiles, screenshots, or examples of completed work is a significant advantage.
