This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua.

📋 Description

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including bespoke themes and plugins.

• Convert visual designs into functional, responsive, and cross-browser experiences using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Integrate external APIs into both new and existing websites.

• Test and troubleshoot websites to guarantee they meet performance, security, and accessibility standards.

• Apply SEO best practices at the technical level to support organic search performance.

• Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it pertains to your department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of web development experience with a strong emphasis on WordPress (custom theme and plugin development).

• Expertise in HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Strong understanding of responsive design, web standards, and accessibility.

• Practical experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.

• Knowledge of server administration and hosting environments.

• Experience with healthcare websites or HIPAA encryption standards is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Webflow, Drupal, React, Angular, Twig, or Node is a plus.

• Employ AI technologies to improve and optimize business processes.

• Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it pertains to your department.
