Developer Engagement Representative – Part-Time Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Acquire a thorough understanding of Roblox's moderation policies and guidelines.

• Identify and connect with potential partners in the developer community to establish and nurture a robust partnership pipeline.

• Organize and implement both online and offline community events, workshops, and initiatives that inspire and engage developers across various regions.

• Oversee programs from the initial idea to successful execution, establishing clear objectives, monitoring progress, and evaluating results.

• Assist with translation and localization efforts to ensure that programs, communications, and resources are accessible and culturally appropriate for global audiences.

• Adhere to established team protocols while seeking opportunities to enhance and streamline workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be physically located in Australia or New Zealand.

• Strong understanding of Roblox and its community.

• Good standing with regards to Roblox moderation history.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and one of the applied languages.

• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, both online and offline.

• A proactive, adaptable attitude with a passion for supporting and expanding a global developer ecosystem.

• Capacity to work across functions and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with a team-oriented approach.

• A belief that community support is vital to the company's success.

• A desire to empower and motivate our developer community.

• Knowledge of community processes, methodologies, and best practices.

• Experience with gaming communities, game jams, or planning virtual/hybrid events is advantageous.

• Preferably an early-career professional or fresh graduate.
