This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Collaborate with the care team through regular consultations regarding an assigned patient caseload.
• Provide guidance to OB/GYN providers on suitable medications and treatment plans.
• Conduct direct patient consultations for short-term medication management during pregnancy, postpartum, and/or peri/menopause.
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments via telehealth for short-term mental health conditions during the perinatal period and/or peri/menopause.
• Offer treatment suggestions for patients requiring more intensive or specialized mental health services.
• Conduct pre-conception medication consultations and psycho-education for those attempting to conceive.
• Engage in asynchronous consultations and evaluate available clinical data and medical histories.
• Ensure documentation for case consultations and patient visits is completed within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with care managers to monitor the status and population health of the assigned patient caseload.
• Provide educational support for the diagnosis and management of behavioral health issues.
• Be available for occasional ad hoc consultations with OB providers during standard working hours.
• Must be a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner in PA.
• Capable of practicing independently without supervision in the state(s) of licensure.
• Must possess an active DEA license in the state(s) of licensure.
• Hold a valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Maintain a positive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to rapidly synthesize medical and psychiatric information to make effective and evidence-based clinical recommendations.
• Driven, passionate, and inspired by a mission to enhance mental healthcare delivery for perinatal and/or perimenopausal patients, especially among vulnerable populations.
• Experience or interest in mental health care related to perinatal or perimenopausal periods and collaborative care approaches.
• Compensation: 60-minute Psychiatric Evaluation: $125.
• Compensation: 25-minute Psychiatric Follow-up: $50.
