This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Act as the primary authority on architectural standards, design conventions, and configuration patterns for all Datex WMS workflows.
• Establish and uphold enterprise-wide WMS architecture, which includes warehouse blueprints, workflow standards, integration patterns, and compliance frameworks.
• Review and authorize all WMS design modifications from both onshore and offshore teams.
• Keep a comprehensive understanding of current and future warehouse processes, regulatory expectations, and operational challenges.
• Guide, mentor, and assist WMS workflow developers, analysts, and QA testers in both onshore and offshore teams.
• Set priorities, manage workloads, and ensure the timely completion of enhancements, fixes, client onboarding tasks, and projects.
• Guarantee that all workflows comply with DSCSA, cGMP/GDP, 21 CFR Part 11, and audit trail/e-signature requirements.
• Supervise the validation strategy for WMS changes, which includes URS, FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ, traceability matrices, and controlled releases.
• Design efficient workflows for: FEFO/expiry-driven allocation, lot/batch/serial control, quarantine/QA/hold/release, temperature-controlled workflows, controlled substances handling, multi-client 3PL billing, and VAS/kitting/custom pharma processes.
• Oversee integration design with ERP, TMS, carriers, automation, and serialization systems.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for significant incidents, outages, and complex root cause analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of practical experience with Datex WMS, focusing on configuration, workflow design, and architecture.
• 5+ years in a leadership capacity guiding both onshore and offshore teams.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution, including: DSCSA traceability, cGMP/GDP, 21 CFR Part 11, audit trails, e-signatures, and cold chain/temperature-controlled workflows.
• Extensive experience in 3PL multi-client environments.
• Strong comprehension of all essential warehouse processes (inbound, putaway, replenishment, picking methods, VAS, returns, QC, cycle counting).
• Proficient in SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, debugging).
• Strong background in working within GxP validation frameworks (URS/FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ, CAPA, change control).
• Outstanding communication skills; capacity to bridge the gap between business, operations, and technical teams.
