WIZ Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Proactively identify and assess security risks, employing vulnerability scanning for cloud workloads, containers, and Kubernetes.

• Set up security policies across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI to bolster security posture, concentrating on misconfigurations and compliance.

• Incorporate Wiz scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) directly into developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines for early risk detection, facilitating a "shift-left" security approach.

• Leverage the Wiz Security Graph to illustrate attack paths, emphasizing toxic combinations of vulnerabilities rather than isolated alerts.

• Collaborate with development teams to resolve findings, offering technical guidance on cloud security, IAM permissions, and threat detection.

• Oversee agents for VM management and conduct CSPM, integrating CI/CD pipelines across multi-cloud infrastructure.

• Direct the complete installation and configuration of Wiz agents (Red, Blue, Green) within cloud environments to identify risks and vulnerabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of cloud security platforms, vulnerability management, and agent-based security solutions.

• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI environments.

• Solid understanding of Kubernetes security, container security, and compliance standards.

• Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP Security) or specific certifications related to the Wiz platform are often required.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and container registries.
