This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Lead the initiative to implement technical projects and provide consultation services
• Conduct on-site visits to client locations
• Collect essential information and address project-related issues
• Prepare estimates and proposals for new projects while engaging in direct sales for smaller accounts
• Perform short-circuit, protective device coordination, and arc-flash analysis
• Ensure that electrical analyses and studies adhere to IEEE and NFPA standards
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Provide top-tier technical expertise during the bidding process
• Assess the quality of work completed by the team
• Mentor and develop team members, ensuring alignment with divisional objectives
• Foster and maintain professional relationships with clients
• Adhere to safety protocols, conduct guidelines, and policy requirements set forth by ESCO and clients
• A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college, technical school, or university, along with ten years or more of relevant work or industry experience
• A combination of equivalent education and/or experience will be acceptable with clear evidence of success
• PE license is required or a commitment to obtain it
• Proven ability to lead and mentor team members while ensuring alignment with divisional goals
• Extensive experience in electric power systems
• In-depth knowledge and experience with short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash, and power quality studies
• Advanced proficiency with power system modeling software tools such as SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EasyPower
• High proficiency in computer technology, including but not limited to Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
