Lead Controls Engineer – Crossbelt

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, functionality, and testing of advanced automated sortation systems

• Lead and support the design and programming efforts for both new and existing projects

• Develop and implement modular, reusable PLC code while assisting with all on-site controls engineering tasks

• Create and enhance Human Machine Interface (HMI) using commercial software solutions

• Collaborate and coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment on requirements and standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field

• 7+ years of experience in an industrial controls setting, including expertise in PLC and HMI programming

• Proficient understanding of VFDs, induction motors, PLCs, and industrial networking

• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve controls I/O issues effectively

• Strong communication skills coupled with exceptional leadership qualities
