Wireless Systems Technical Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical support for wireless systems by addressing customer queries and troubleshooting issues associated with 4G/LTE, 5G, and network protocols.

• Travel to customer locations to oversee the installation of trial systems and provide training to customer engineers on the installation and operation of our wireless solutions.

• Manage computer systems and hardware, ensuring peak performance and security through proficient IT support and desktop support practices.

• Collaborate with team members to tackle complex technical challenges and improve customer service experiences.

• Utilize Microsoft Office and SQL for documentation and reporting purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering.

• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in Technical Support or Field Engineer roles related to RF systems.

• Experience with Microwave systems is highly preferred.

• Understanding of RF systems theory.

• Familiarity with L2/L3 networking and protocols.

• US work authorization and residency in the US are required.

• Willingness to travel within the USA.

• Proficient in using network protocol analyzers and traffic generators.

• Working knowledge of Linux.

• Familiarity with SQL.

• Experience with NMS systems.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, creativity, and attention to detail.

• Results-oriented, capable of explaining the rationale behind decisions and trade-offs.

• Flexible, with a strong eagerness to learn and embrace new challenges.

• Resilient under stress, able to adapt to changing priorities and schedules, and capable of developing, organizing, and managing multiple tasks.
