This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creation, editing, and ongoing enhancement of general equipment documentation, particularly detailed Installation, Operation, and Maintenance (IOM) manuals for cutting-edge thermal management systems.
• Design, implement, and optimize structured documentation processes, which include the formulation, evaluation, and management of standardized engineering submission packages for client approval and contractor utilization.
• Create and enhance detailed Sequence of Operations (SOO) documents.
• Examine heat transfer and energy conversion components—including sophisticated heat exchanger configurations, refrigeration units, and heat pumps—to accurately portray their functionality in user-facing support documents.
• Independently produce, review, and refine extensive project and customer reports. Ensure clear oversight of timelines, deliverables, and project milestones using collaborative project management tools.
• Collaborate closely with R&D and product development teams to gather technical specifications and utilize internal documentation tools to facilitate ongoing product enhancement.
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Preferred: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field in thermal sciences.
• Over 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, refrigeration, thermal management, HVAC, or a related discipline.
• Theoretical Refrigeration (Essential): A comprehensive foundational understanding of refrigeration cycles, heat transfer, and energy conversion systems is essential for producing high-quality support documents.
• Fluid Dynamics: Extensive knowledge of single-phase and two-phase heat transfer processes is highly regarded.
• Data Center Infrastructure: Practical understanding of contemporary data center cooling architectures, including direct-to-chip liquid cooling, immersion systems, and liquid-to-air and liquid-to-liquid heat rejection, is greatly beneficial.
• Outstanding technical writing and communication abilities, with a proven history of producing clear, concise engineering documentation, manuals, and client-facing reports.
• Demonstrated capacity to independently master new engineering specifications, product modifications, or internal systems and swiftly apply them to current documentation initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to gather information, along with a steadfast commitment to documentation accuracy and clarity.
