Senior Developer, Fullstack – Business Systems Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, and maintain internal integrations, tools, and solutions that improve efficiency and optimize operations within Fullscript's technical ecosystem.

• Accountable for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations and APIs to ensure efficient and secure data transfers between systems.

• Collaborate with business partners to utilize technology and AI in delivering solutions that enhance efficiency or customer experience.

• Develop scalable applications to meet the expanding needs of the business.

• Review pull requests, provide mentorship, and advocate for high-quality code that accelerates future development processes.

• Assume complete ownership and responsibility for building, shipping, testing, deploying, and maintaining features.

• Define and plan projects, collaborating with stakeholders and other developers for implementation.

• Contribute to and own high-level architectural decisions while effectively communicating those decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are a dedicated software developer who is passionate about your craft. You are eager to learn, lead projects, and aim to produce outstanding work.

• Experience in building RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and integrating with third-party services.

• Proficient in Ruby/Ruby on Rails or Object-Oriented Programming.

• Familiarity with Javascript or JS frameworks (such as React, Vue, AngularJS, Next, or similar).

• Understanding of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, along with CSS preprocessors.

• Capable of writing tests and recognizing their significance.

• Eager to learn and open to receiving feedback.

• Knowledgeable about design patterns and clean code principles.
