This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership and manage our primary financial systems – currently NetSuite, with FloQast and Ramp set to be integrated – including system configuration, business logic, and daily operational health.
• Recognize manual, repetitive, or error-prone finance operations (such as month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and procure-to-pay) and work towards minimizing or eliminating them through automation, utilizing the simplest effective methods and collaborating with engineering for more complex solutions.
• Act as the expert in business logic and data within the finance sector, collaborating with engineering to define and uphold the rules and canonical definitions that the systems depend on.
• Develop cross-system integrations on a central, version-controlled, and observable integration platform in conjunction with engineering, rather than creating isolated scripts within individual tools.
• Serve as the primary systems liaison for Finance and Accounting: translate their requirements into system capabilities, cultivate those working relationships, and take technical ownership of financial vendor onboarding, configuration, and management.
• Leverage modern AI tools to create automations and expedite routine system tasks, enhancing productivity without increasing manual workload.
• 3-6 years of experience managing a financial or ERP system, with hands-on experience in NetSuite administration required, including:
• configuration, customization, user access, roles, permissions, and workflows;
• core modules like General Ledger, Advanced Revenue Management, Accounts, and subsidiary/multi-location structures;
• designing and executing custom records, fields, and automations;
• developing SuiteFlow automations in response to evolving business needs;
• overseeing the NetSuite integration ecosystem.
• A solid understanding of essential finance and accounting processes: month-end close, reconciliation, accounts payable/procure-to-pay, and revenue.
• A strong motivation to eliminate repetitive manual tasks, with a proven history of successful automation (e.g. scripting, saved searches, workflow automation, or low-code/iPaaS tools).
• Good judgment regarding where logic should reside – determining what should be system configuration, what should be a cross-system integration, and which system serves as the authoritative source for specific data.
• Proficiency in at least one of SuiteScript, SQL, general scripting, or API-based automation, with the capability to comprehend and evaluate integrations even when developed by engineering.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across both finance and engineering teams, with the ability to act as a translator between the two.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of any additional languages is a plus.
• Unlimited Vacation
• Flexible Working Options
• Health Insurance
• Parental Leave
• Employee Stock Option Plan
• Home Office Allowance
• Professional Development Stipend
• Peer Recognition Program
