Windows Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and components for Windows using the latest development technologies and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including product management and UI/UX design, to collect requirements and ensure effective implementation of features.

• Convert business requirements into technical designs and code implementations, guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Write efficient and maintainable code that adheres to the project's functional and performance specifications.

• Perform comprehensive testing and debugging of applications to ensure software quality and reliability.

• Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to identify and resolve software defects and inconsistencies.

• Remain informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Windows software development.

• Engage in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and consistently seek opportunities for codebase enhancement.

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate build, deployment, and testing processes.

• Assist in the prompt resolution of customer-reported issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a C developer, with a strong emphasis on developing Windows-based software applications.

• Expertise in Windows development frameworks, including .NET (C#) and WPF.

• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software development methodologies.

• Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL, with preferable experience in relational databases such as MS SQL Server.

• Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git) and project management systems (e.g., JIRA).

• Understanding of Agile software development practices and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a sharp attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the capability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and swiftly adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.

• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud-based technologies is advantageous.
