Wind Turbine Blade Repair Technician, Level 1 and 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Carrying out internal and external evaluations

• Executing defect assessments

• Performing Category 1-3 repairs on fiberglass and composite blades

• Assisting with site preparation and coordinating labor and materials with minimal oversight

• Filling out mobile-based service reports and keeping precise documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Complete GWO Certification (BST, ART, BTT)

• Additional Certifications (preferred or required, depending on project): Arc Flash / NFPA 70E, Confined Space & Rescue, WHMIS, Respirator Fit Testing, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), IRATA or SPRAT Rope Access Certification

• Completion of Grade 12 or its equivalent; a higher degree in Renewable Energy education is considered an asset

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Canada

• Physically capable of fulfilling job responsibilities
