
Wind Hub Manager – Texas 9, Seymour Area

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and provide direction for a multi-site service hub.
• Identify and support staffing needs, including coaching, training, and corrective actions related to employees and contracted partners, along with succession planning.
• Take ownership of the safety culture within the hub, encompassing both contracted partners and customers.
• Conduct daily Plan of the Day calls, prioritizing and managing the dispatch schedule.
• Adopt a customer-centric approach to foster long-term relationships with clients, ensuring the achievement of business objectives and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with the Customer Performance Director to escalate customer issues as a priority.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams such as Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and HR to fulfill deliverables.
• Focus on turbine performance to meet or exceed performance commitments.
• Engage in innovative practices across all aspects of facility operations, aligning with individual site plans, and employing creative problem-solving with a LEAN mindset.
• Oversee operations within a multi-site service hub, ensuring weekly visits to each site while promoting a strong safety focus.
• Continue to strengthen customer relationships.
• Foster team engagement and support talent development.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
• A minimum of 3 years in a field services or similar role within the energy sector.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the hub, which may require overnight stays.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Technical Certification in Wind Energy or Electrical/Electronic fields is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet applications, email programs, facility control and management systems, as well as computer diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience in the wind turbine or energy sector.
• Advanced knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems, including the use of hydraulic power tools.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment necessary for facility maintenance, including knowledge of crane and rigging guidelines.
• Strong writing skills to fulfill contractual reporting requirements.
• In-depth understanding of Operations and Maintenance best practices, including planning, organizing, coordinating, executing, and controlling wind hub activities, productivity improvements, and operational excellence in outage management.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, with a capacity to adapt to change and influence others.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently without direct supervision.
