This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Collaborate with various team members in a matrix setting to ensure the effective delivery of site activation for the designated projects.
• May supervise site activation for assigned projects in accordance with timelines and quality standards.
• Assist in coordinating the flow of information among PPD teams, clients, and functional departments involved in site activation.
• Develop recommended plans and guidelines for project implementation utilizing PPD tools.
• Monitor and assess project status to guarantee successful progress and completion of all assigned projects, providing metrics to upper management.
• Conduct risk identification and formulate contingency planning.
• Collaborate with PPD teams to manage all financial and contractual elements related to studies concerning site activation.
• Work within the team to establish suitable controls to ensure that project resources and expenses are aligned with budgets, with accountability to Global Project Management.
• Oversee the technical and operational dimensions of the site activation segment of assigned projects, including managing feasibility, site contracts, and country teams in a matrix environment, while ensuring the assigned scope of work adheres to timelines, costs, and quality standards.
• Participate in functional area leadership to identify and assess key issues affecting successful site activation, interpret data on complex matters, make informed business decisions, and ensure the implementation of solutions.
• Foster customer relationships in line with assigned projects.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.
• Previous experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (approximately 5+ years).
• Proficient in working effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Consistently exhibits knowledge of the fundamental principles of cross-functional project management.
• Demonstrated organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and address risks related to contractual deliverables and provide suitable solutions.
• Exhibits a solid understanding of cross-cultural awareness and adapts appropriately.
• Comprehensive grasp of clinical research and development, including medical and therapeutic areas, phases, and relevant terminology.
• Demonstrates the ability to lead, liaise, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
