
Wind Hub Manager – Oklahoma 1, Woodward Area

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Provide leadership to facilitate a multi-site service hub.
• Initiate and oversee staffing needs, coaching, training, and corrective measures regarding employees and contracted partners, including succession planning.
• Foster a culture of safety within the hub, encompassing contracted partners and customers.
• Conduct daily Plan of the Day calls, which include prioritizing and managing a dispatch schedule.
• Adopt a customer-centric approach to cultivate long-term relationships with clients, ensuring business objectives are met and contractual obligations fulfilled.
• Collaborate with the Customer Performance Director (CPD) to prioritize and escalate customer issues.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams such as Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and HR to achieve deliverables.
• Prioritize turbine performance to meet or exceed performance commitments.
• Engage in innovative practices across all areas of facility operations, aligned with individual site plans, incorporating creative problem-solving with a LEAN mindset.
• Lead operations within a multi-site service hub, ensuring weekly visits to each site to promote safety, enhance customer relationships, foster team engagement, and support talent development.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites within the hub on a weekly basis, which may necessitate overnight stays.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field services or comparable position within the energy sector.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Technical Certification in Wind Energy or in the Electrical/Electronic field is desirable.
• Proficient in advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet software, email programs, facility control and management systems, and diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience in the wind turbine or energy industries.
• Advanced knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems, including proficiency with hydraulic power tools.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment used for facility maintenance, along with a working knowledge of crane and rigging requirements.
• Strong writing skills to fulfill contractual reporting obligations as necessary.
• In-depth understanding of Operations and Maintenance best practices, including planning, organizing, coordinating, executing, and controlling wind hub activities, productivity enhancements, and operational excellence in outage management.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, with a capacity to embrace and adapt to change while influencing others.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Ability, willingness, and flexibility to take initiative and work independently without direct supervision.
