This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide leadership to enhance a multi-site service hub.
• Initiate and support staffing needs, including coaching, training, and corrective actions for employees and contracted partners, alongside succession planning.
• Take ownership of the safety culture within the hub, encompassing contracted partners and customers.
• Conduct daily Plan of the Day calls, ensuring prioritization and management of the dispatch schedule.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach to foster long-term relationships that achieve business goals and fulfill contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with the CPD | Customer Performance Director to escalate customer issues with urgency.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams such as Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and HR to accomplish deliverables.
• Prioritize turbine performance to meet or exceed performance commitments.
• Engage in innovative practices across all areas of facility operations, aligning with individual site plans and employing creative problem-solving with a LEAN mindset.
• Lead operations within a multi-site service hub, ensuring weekly visits to each site to promote safety, strengthen customer relationships, and foster team engagement and talent development.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in a field services or comparable position within the energy sector.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the hub, which may involve overnight stays.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Technical Certification in Wind Energy or the Electrical/Electronic field is advantageous.
• Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, email programs, facility control and management systems, as well as computer diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience within the wind turbine or energy industry.
• Advanced skills in electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic fields, including the use of hydraulic power tools.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment necessary for facility maintenance, along with a solid understanding of crane and rigging requirements.
• Strong writing skills to fulfill contractual reporting obligations as required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Operations and Maintenance best practices, including planning, organizing, coordinating, executing, and controlling wind hub activities to enhance productivity and operational excellence during outages.
• Excellent leadership abilities, with a capacity to adapt to change and influence others effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability, willingness, and flexibility to take initiative and work independently without supervision.
