Wind Hub Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership to enhance the multi-site service hub

• Initiate and support staffing needs, coaching, training, and corrective actions related to employees and contracted partners; also focus on succession planning

• Take ownership of the safety culture within the hub, encompassing both contracted partners and customers

• Execute daily Plan of the Day calls and oversee the dispatch schedule

• Foster long-term relationships with customers to achieve business objectives and fulfill contractual obligations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet key deliverables

• Prioritize turbine performance to meet or exceed performance commitments

• Lead operations within the multi-site service hub, ensuring weekly site visits

• Promote a strong safety focus and continuously enhance customer relationships

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field services or a similar role within the energy sector

• Eligibility Requirements: Must be willing and able to travel within the hub, which may involve overnight stays

• A valid driver’s license is required

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred

• Technical Certification in Wind Energy or the Electrical/Electronic field is preferred

• Proficient computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet applications, email programs, facility control and management systems, and diagnostic and troubleshooting tools

• Experience in the wind turbine or energy industry is preferred

• Advanced knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems, including the use of hydraulic power tools is preferred

• Experience with heavy equipment for facility maintenance along with a working understanding of crane and rigging requirements is preferred

• Strong writing skills are necessary to fulfill contractual reporting obligations, as needed
