This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver technical support to customers via phone and onsite visits.
• Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, software updates, machine modifications, retrofits, and preventative maintenance on production printing equipment.
• Execute equipment installations, deinstallations, relocations, and provide operator training to customers.
• Follow up with clients post-installation to ensure their expectations are met and the equipment functions correctly.
• Organize and oversee upcoming installations, confirming site readiness requirements such as power availability, forklift scheduling, and RIP software compatibility.
• Offer high-quality technical support by fulfilling service calls in line with company standards and service agreements.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to equipment and provide guidance on color management and production workflows.
• Acquire a solid understanding of Onyx software and RIP systems to aid customer print production environments.
• Support sales teams by recognizing equipment upgrade opportunities and contributing to technical assessments.
• Keep precise service records and documentation.
• Minimum of 26 years of relevant field service experience.
• Experience in servicing and repairing wide format equipment and associated technologies.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in Canon wide format printing equipment.
• Preferred working knowledge of Onyx software and production RIP workflows.
• Strong understanding of computers and networking.
• Excellent mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems and related applications.
• Highly motivated individual capable of working independently from a home office setting.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
