This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Addressing telephone inquiries from providers and related entities concerning benefits, beneficiary eligibility, plan coverage, and other associated questions.

• Delivering exceptional customer service in a professional and timely manner for all inquiries related to both the Martins Point USFHP and Generations Advantage programs.

• Responding to verbal, written, and electronic inquiries with complete and accurate information about Martin’s Point USFHP and Medicare program.

• Offering additional training when necessary to callers regarding policies, procedures, and available self-service options.

• Managing incoming inquiries and collaborating with providers on potential next steps or resolutions.

• Working in conjunction with the PI Research team and/or other departments when needed to resolve provider-related issues.

• Following up promptly with providers when first call resolution isn't achievable.

• Keeping informed about existing and new information available through Provider Services' internal resources.

• Accurately documenting all inquiries with detailed information, adhering to all applicable workflows as well as departmental and regulatory requirements.

• Utilizing soft skills to foster trusting relationships within the context of mutual partnership, creating a world-class service experience for both internal and external customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Over 3 years of customer service experience.

• Prior experience in a medical billing role is preferred.

• Outstanding customer service skills.

• Strong analytical skills for research and problem-solving.

• Proficient computer skills (keyboard proficient, quick data entry with a high level of accuracy).

• Well-organized with excellent follow-up abilities.

• Demonstrates an understanding of and alignment with Martin’s Point Values.

• Capable of working efficiently and independently.

• Ability to talk and type simultaneously.

• Active listening skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.

• Multi-task oriented with strong prioritization skills.

• Detail-oriented.

• Ability to manage stressful situations and adapt easily to changes.
