High School Science Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Accountable for delivering designated course material in a virtual setting.

• Offer instruction, support, and guidance to students.

• Oversee the learning process with an emphasis on the individual needs of students.

• Track student progress utilizing Stride K12’s learning management system.

• Collaborate closely with students and their parents/learning coaches to enhance each student's learning towards set objectives.

• Occasionally travel throughout the year to attend various school events, including state testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• North Carolina Teaching Certification is mandatory.

• A High School Science endorsement is required.

• Must be a resident of North Carolina.

• Bachelor’s degree is necessary.

• Active state teaching license is required.

• Ability to successfully pass the necessary background check.

• Experience with the specified age group is essential.

• Experience in assisting both adults and children with technology usage.

• Background in teaching within an online (virtual) or traditional classroom environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with online learning platforms is necessary.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators.
