Math and Science Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide compelling and personalized virtual instruction that caters to each student's objectives, accommodations, and learning profile.

• Develop organized lesson plans that correspond with student objectives, grade-level benchmarks, and the unique accommodations or modifications required by each learner.

• Modify instruction on-the-fly, responding to student inquiries, progress, and engagement levels.

• Monitor student advancement and maintain effective communication with families and, when applicable, school district collaborators.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Proven experience working with students who have educational needs.

• Capability to design and deliver lesson plans that align with student objectives and accommodations.

• Excellent virtual instruction abilities — proficiency with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and maintaining student engagement online.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Access to a reliable computer, internet connection, webcam, and a quiet workspace.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is advantageous.
