Werkstudent – Agentic Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop data and backend features within our stack (TypeScript + Go, Postgres) – from concept to deployment on Cloud Run

• Orchestrate LLM agents (Claude Code/Codex) to enhance delivery speed – you will review, get them running, and take responsibility for the outcomes

• Improve embedding-based product matching (pgvector + Gemini) and resolve edge cases

• Automate the collection and utilization of competitive and market data

• Build knowledge pipelines: transforming data from various sources into structured, searchable formats for autonomous data processing

• Take ownership of a specific area, deliver independently, and provide brief daily reports

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Germany and be enrolled at a German university (working student) – freelancers and self-employed individuals are not eligible

• Ideally in a Master’s program, close to graduation – only the thesis remains (but still enrolled), with full focus

• Practical experience in both TypeScript and Go (not just one of them)

• Proficient in Postgres/SQL, APIs, and Git; additional knowledge of pgvector/embeddings, scraping, and LLM APIs is a plus

• Already worked productively with ChatGPT/Claude/Cursor/Codex

• Strong asynchronous communication skills – writes clearly, documents decisions, and drives projects forward without meetings

• Excellent command of either English or German

• Self-motivated, hands-on, and willing to take responsibility
