This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Identifies opportunities to engage members and their families in creating a supportive recovery network.

• Develops and implements onsite psychiatric discharge planning education at Recovery and Resiliency sites.

• Collaborates with Stabilization Teams as an advocate for members in discharge planning education, addressing barriers, and facilitating service transitions.

• Serves as a resource for staff in decision-making and problem-solving processes.

• Initiates and maintains communication with assigned individuals and providers to assess members' responses to services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Requires an AA/AS degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the health services or behavioral health field, or in a peer support services role.

• Peer Specialist Certification is mandatory.

• Strong preference for knowledge of care-coordination and case management concepts.

• Nevada State Certification as a Certified Peer Recovery and Support Specialist (PRSS) is required.

• Washington Certification as a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) is also required.
