This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +1 more state.
β’ Identifies opportunities to engage members and their families in creating a supportive recovery network.
β’ Develops and implements onsite psychiatric discharge planning education at Recovery and Resiliency sites.
β’ Collaborates with Stabilization Teams as an advocate for members in discharge planning education, addressing barriers, and facilitating service transitions.
β’ Serves as a resource for staff in decision-making and problem-solving processes.
β’ Initiates and maintains communication with assigned individuals and providers to assess members' responses to services.
β’ Requires an AA/AS degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the health services or behavioral health field, or in a peer support services role.
β’ Peer Specialist Certification is mandatory.
β’ Strong preference for knowledge of care-coordination and case management concepts.
β’ Nevada State Certification as a Certified Peer Recovery and Support Specialist (PRSS) is required.
β’ Washington Certification as a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) is also required.
