Aerial Sensor Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Engage in ground and flight operations as required, which includes mission planning, execution, briefing, debriefing, communication, and safety protocols.

• Ensure the accurate and high-quality collection of data.

• Comprehend the processes involved in tactical and wide area mapping.

• Adhere to all relevant regulations and operate in line with established procedures and practices.

• Download, edit, and troubleshoot sensor data collected in the field. Set up and manage ground GPS base stations along with flight planning activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or G.E.D., or two (2) years of relevant experience; a degree in GIS, geography, or a related field is preferred.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship.

• Willingness and ability to travel moderately to extensively, both domestically and potentially internationally.

• Preferred familiarity with ESRI software, including ArcGIS, Leica FlightPro, TerraSolid, and/or TerraSolid.

• Preferred experience with Leica Terrain Mapper, ADS 100, and DMC operations.

• Excellent customer service skills are essential.

• Above-average proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; demonstrated superior oral and written communication abilities.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting; able to provide constructive feedback and direction to meet objectives.

• Ability to swiftly adapt to industry changes and internal initiatives.

• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
