Senior Commercial HVAC Journeyman Technician – Union

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Conduct inspections and maintenance of air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling units.

• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, which includes thermostatic controls and liquid lines.

• Maintain refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps.

• Oversee chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal control mechanisms as necessary.

• Assemble and install metal ductwork while assisting in the planning and design of HVAC systems.

• Ensure adherence to City, State, and EPA regulations by keeping thorough maintenance records.

• Recognize and address risks to foster a safe working environment.

• Work collaboratively with management to uphold safety and operational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry.

• Capability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Possession of an EPA Universal certification.

• Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on rooftops.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage by the company's insurance carrier.
