• Lead the site strategy to achieve significant inbound growth and provide outstanding experiences for organic inbound traffic, agentic LLM interactions, and channel partnerships.
• Maintain a clear perspective on how the site should be organized to effectively cater to our diverse audiences.
• Direct the site roadmap and prioritize decisively within the limits of available resources.
• Make and justify recommendations regarding CMS tools (currently using Sanity but open to alternatives).
• Manage SEO and GEO comprehensively: overseeing technical health, content strategy, agentic optimization, and keyword targeting for both B2B and D2C audiences.
• Develop and enhance conversion paths tailored to each audience — including employer pipelines, university inquiries, and student acquisition.
• Ensure proper site instrumentation: analytics, tracking, and attribution; ensuring clarity on what strategies are effective.
• Oversee the publishing workflow — from initial brief to live content — collaborating with internal stakeholders and external contractors (copywriters, designers, developers) as necessary.
• Work with colleagues to integrate dynamic content into the website from both internal and external sources of truth.
• Ensure the site consistently represents Clasp's brand with quality across every page.
• Keep content updated amidst a rapidly evolving policy and product environment.
• Manage relationships with external contractors and agencies as required.
• Serve as the primary internal contact for all website-related matters — including engineering, marketing, sales, and leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering and information security teams to uphold the reliability and secure operation of the website.
• 4–7 years of experience in digital marketing, web strategy, or growth — with a portion of that focused on directly managing a website or web channel.
• Proven ability to architecturally think about multi-audience web experiences, rather than merely executing tasks.
• Strong understanding of SEO and GEO, encompassing both technical and content aspects.
• Proficient with modern CMS platforms — such as Sanity, Webflow, Contentful, or similar alternatives.
• Data-driven: capable of making decisions based on analytics and building the reporting infrastructure if it is not already established.
• Excellent writing and communication skills — responsible for drafting briefs, presenting recommendations to leadership, and occasionally writing copy yourself.
• Demonstrated experience in utilizing AI tools to automate manual tasks and research & implement best practices in contemporary web marketing.
