This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and manage retention marketing strategies for email and SMS for designated clients.
• Discover opportunities to enhance customer lifetime value through segmentation, personalization, lifecycle mapping, and behavioral targeting.
• Convert business objectives into actionable retention strategies, testing roadmaps, and performance metrics.
• Plan, create, implement, and improve email and SMS campaigns along with automated flows (e.g., welcome, abandoned browse/cart/checkout, post-purchase, win-back, loyalty).
• Collaborate with copywriters and designers to produce engaging, conversion-oriented content that aligns with each brand’s voice and guidelines.
• Ensure all programs adhere to deliverability, compliance, and best-practice standards.
• Track performance against KPIs such as revenue, engagement, conversion rate, deliverability, and list growth.
• Perform A/B testing on subject lines, creative elements, timing, offers, and segmentation to promote ongoing enhancement.
• Leverage data and insights to provide proactive recommendations and confidently challenge strategies that are not meeting performance expectations.
• Assist account managers during client meetings by presenting strategies, results, and recommendations.
• Effectively communicate performance insights, testing results, and subsequent steps in client-facing reports and discussions.
• Serve as a trusted expert in retention marketing for clients, ensuring alignment with their broader marketing strategies.
• Work in conjunction with paid media, CRO, creative, and store operations teams to integrate lifecycle marketing with acquisition and on-site experiences.
• Contribute to the development of internal best practices, playbooks, and the continual evolution of ehouse’s retention marketing services.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in retention, lifecycle, or email/SMS marketing for eCommerce brands (agency experience is highly preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in building and optimizing email and SMS campaigns along with automated flows.
• Strong comprehension of segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
• Experience in analyzing performance metrics and leveraging data to shape strategy and optimization.
• Capability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to clients.
• High attention to detail and strong project management abilities.
• Familiarity with leading retention platforms such as Klaviyo, Attentive, Postmark, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce).
• Understanding of email deliverability best practices and compliance (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR).
