Webapp Offensive Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and integrate offensive security content for web applications into the NodeZero platform.

• Create, develop, and incorporate innovative attack capabilities into the NodeZero platform, including offensive security tools and AI-enhanced techniques.

• Research and implement AI-driven strategies for detecting vulnerabilities, exploiting them, and automating workflows.

• Enhance and maintain the platform's architecture, data models, and system design to accommodate new product features.

• Monitor production environments for issues or missed opportunities and create or resolve Jira tickets as necessary.

• Investigate, take ownership of, and resolve bugs in developed content.

• Collaborate across teams to address customer and prospect inquiries related to attack content.

• Write technical blog posts that highlight new research, exploits, or attack methodologies.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the ongoing improvement of team processes and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in conducting comprehensive web application penetration tests.

• Proficiency with proxy tools such as Burp and browser developer tools.

• Skilled in object-oriented programming and test-driven development, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools for security research and automation tasks.

• A keen interest in emerging AI technologies.

• Familiarity with relational and graph databases, specifically Postgres and Neo4j.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and mentor colleagues with varying levels of experience.

• Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies as required.

• Proven track record of successful contributions to bug bounty programs.
