Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance security through consultation, education, tools, and process enhancements.

• Conduct focused code reviews and security assessments while investigating high-risk designs, vulnerabilities, or security-sensitive features.

• Assist in evaluating emerging AI technologies and development methodologies.

• Identify recurring security issues and contribute to scalable solutions that mitigate risk across the organization.

• Manage application vulnerability reports received from third-party sources.

• Lead incident responses and facilitate post-mortem evaluations.

• Engage in on-call rotations and take your share of operational responsibilities for the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience achieving secure outcomes with engineering teams.

• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and other relevant industry standards.

• Background in application security and security testing.

• Proficient in secure code review, with foundational skills in one or more of PHP, Python, Kotlin, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
