Web UX/UI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Create and develop visually engaging, user-centric websites from the initial idea to the final launch.

• Design wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity designs by applying UX/UI best practices.

• Construct and tailor websites using CMS platforms like WordPress, ensuring they are responsive, functional, and scalable.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert business goals into impactful digital experiences.

• Develop websites that range from small business sites to larger, more intricate projects, including those with e-commerce features when necessary.

• Implement SEO best practices during the website planning and development phases to enhance search visibility and user experience.

• Leverage AI-driven design and website-building tools to boost efficiency while ensuring high-quality results.

• Optimize websites for responsiveness, accessibility, performance, and usability across various devices.

• Prepare design assets and work closely with development teams to guarantee accurate implementation.

• Conduct website updates, CMS maintenance, design enhancements, and ongoing improvements as required.

• Remain up-to-date with industry trends, emerging web technologies, UX best practices, SEO standards, and AI-driven development tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and developing websites.

• A strong portfolio showcasing both UX/UI design projects and live website implementations.

• Demonstrated experience in managing websites from concept through development and launch.

• High proficiency with WordPress, including theme customization, page builders, and CMS management.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and a solid grasp of responsive front-end development.

• Familiarity with JavaScript is an advantage.

• Experience in building or supporting e-commerce sites (WooCommerce, Shopify, or similar platforms) is highly desirable.

• Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals, including on-page optimization and website best practices.

• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).

• Experience with AI-powered tools, especially Claude, to aid in website design, content creation, development workflows, and productivity.

• Strong comprehension of UX/UI principles, accessibility standards, and responsive web design.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Advanced proficiency in English is required.

• Must be available to align with U.S. business hours.
