Web Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality WordPress websites utilizing Elementor in accordance with approved Figma designs.

• Convert Figma wireframes and mockups into responsive, sleek, and modern layouts.

• Oversee updates, revisions, and content implementation across active client sites.

• Implement SEO fundamentals, including metadata, headings, on-page formatting, image optimization, redirects, and plugin setups.

• Install and optimize SEO plugins such as Yoast, RankMath, or All-in-One SEO.

• Ensure clean site architecture, appropriate use of theme builder templates, and reusable components.

• Effectively communicate with account managers and clients regarding timelines, deliverables, and expectations.

• Conduct thorough QA for each site prior to handoff, addressing mobile performance, accessibility basics, and page speed.

• Collaborate closely with designers to uphold design integrity throughout the build process.

• Utilize creativity and problem-solving skills to overcome design or layout challenges.

• Keep documentation of work clear and organized.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with WordPress.

• At least 3 years of experience building websites in Elementor (Pro version preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to translate Figma designs into clean WordPress implementations.

• Strong understanding of SEO principles.

• Proficiency with SEO plugins such as Yoast, RankMath, or similar tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail with a creative perspective on layout and design.

• Capability to manage deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic agency environment.

• Nice to Have: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.

• Experience with alternative page builders (Divi, Breakdance, Bricks).

• Background in creating supplementary assets such as graphics or simple design elements.

• Familiarity with website hosting, staging environments, and domain/DNS management.
