Web Designer/Developer III – .NET, Front-End

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and document secure web and database applications utilizing .NET technologies.

• Create responsive, user-centered front-end solutions that incorporate UI/UX principles.

• Engage in Agile development processes throughout requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Collect and convert customer and stakeholder requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Develop and securely integrate APIs, databases, and external data sources.

• Implement secure development practices, adhering to OWASP-aligned coding standards.

• Create and maintain cloud-based applications in Azure, utilizing Azure and AWS development expertise as necessary.

• Keep source code, technical documentation, configuration data, and deployment artifacts in authorized repositories.

• Take part in code reviews, vulnerability scanning/remediation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

• Collaborate with systems, security, database, cloud, and administrative teams.

• Provide support for GIS/geospatial integrations when relevant, ideally using ESRI/ArcGIS technologies.

• Contribute to testing, stakeholder feedback cycles, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support Koniag Operations Services, LLC along with its federal government customer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Agile web and database application development.

• Strong expertise in .NET/C# and contemporary front-end development.

• Familiarity with UI/UX design and implementation.

• Experience in developing and integrating APIs, particularly RESTful APIs.

• Background in architecting or developing applications on Azure and AWS.

• Understanding of secure software development practices and web application security standards such as OWASP.

• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical abilities.

• Capacity to independently design and manage technical solutions with minimal oversight.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Application Development certification (required in .NET).

• Secure development certification.

• Preferred experience in a federal government or FISMA-regulated environment.

• Preferred experience with GIS/ESRI integration.

• Familiarity with leveraging AI-enabled capabilities within applications or business processes is a plus; extensive AI/ML development experience is not mandatory.

• Candidates from the Eastern Time Zone are preferred but not required.
