This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and nurture relationships by effectively addressing customer requirements while maximizing the benefits of Empower products and services.
• Schedule appointments that necessitate identifying external asset opportunities, securing the identified opportunities, and smoothly managing the onboarding of external assets.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of goal-oriented planning by offering solutions for various savings objectives, such as education funding, retirement preparation, and other intermediate to long-term savings plans.
• Utilize Empower’s conversation framework and interactive planning tools to assess participant needs and provide suitable next steps.
• Carefully manage time and pipeline to prioritize daily activities based on customer needs and the potential for expanding relationships with Empower.
• Oversee the process (using SalesForce CRM) to log conversations, appropriately follow up with clients during the account transfer process, and effectively pursue opportunities that are not yet finalized.
• Collaborate with relationship management and advisory teams to prioritize meetings aimed at consolidating outside assets and smoothly transition back to the relationship management team once assets are secured.
• Achieve bi-monthly sales and conversation objectives to qualify for incentive compensation.
• Perform other assigned tasks, which may include participation in staff meetings, product seminars/training, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning securities and insurance, in support of strategic departmental and firm initiatives.
• FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66) registrations are mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial industry with a proven record of sales success is required.
• Outstanding listening, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• Thorough understanding of retail investment products and qualified retirement plans.
• FINRA fingerprinting is a requirement.
