This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary advisor for client relationships.
• Provide holistic wealth management guidance that incorporates investment, tax, estate, and risk planning strategies.
• Cultivate enduring relationships through a high-touch, concierge-style service approach.
• Address intricate client situations, including multi-generational wealth, business ownership, and advanced estate structures.
• Transition and expand an existing portfolio of clients within the Kilter Group platform.
• Proactively seek and establish new client relationships through personal networks, referrals, and strategic collaborations.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on growth initiatives and strategies for client acquisition.
• Represent Kilter Group externally as a credible authority in wealth management.
• Create and execute tailored financial plans that align with client aspirations and changing circumstances.
• Offer insights on tax-efficient strategies, estate and legacy planning, retirement planning, and liquidity events.
• Work alongside external professionals (CPAs, attorneys, etc.) to provide integrated solutions.
• Collaborate with the investment team to ensure portfolios align with client goals and risk tolerance.
• Articulate investment strategy, performance, and market insights to clients with clarity and assurance.
• Ensure the effective execution of financial plans by coordinating with internal teams.
• Contribute to the firm's culture of excellence, mentorship, and ongoing improvement.
• Serve as a resource for intricate client cases and planning strategies throughout the firm.
• Maintain the highest standards of compliance, ethics, and fiduciary responsibility.
• Over 15 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory.
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) or equivalent advanced industry designation is required (such as CFA®, CPA); additional certifications are advantageous.
• Proven experience in managing high-net-worth client relationships and implementing comprehensive planning strategies.
• Demonstrated success in business development, including the ability to transition and grow an existing client base.
• Established capability to provide exceptional client service through professional excellence, the highest ethical standards, and effective resource utilization.
• Extensive knowledge in investments, tax planning, estate planning, and intricate financial structures.
• Familiarity with portfolio reporting and CRM systems, such as Tamarac, Orion, or Black Diamond.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and build trust.
• Strong client-focused mindset with a commitment to contributing to a growing, next-generation firm.
• Excellent organizational skills with remarkable attention to detail and a commitment to enhancing data accuracy and preventing errors.
• Ability to excel in a remote working environment while maintaining high levels of accountability.
