Water Workforce Education Partner – K-12 & Higher Ed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a representative for a school district, community college, university, or educational nonprofit that focuses on water-career programming.

• Collaborate in the design of educational initiatives such as modules, camps, career days, dual credit opportunities, or laboratory experiences.

• Identify target student demographics and geographical areas for delivery.

• Assist in the documentation of partnerships for joint education and workforce development proposals when mutually agreed upon.

• Provide guidance on learning outcomes and assessment methods suitable for educational environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in a role within a K-12 local education agency, community college, university, or educational nonprofit.

• Proven background in delivering STEM or CTE career education, as well as water or environmental education, or work-based learning programs.

• Capability to engage in discussions regarding institutional partnership pathways.

• Willingness to participate as a collaborator on a time-limited basis.

• Authorization to work with a U.S. research organization.

• Open to both full-time employment and project-based contract engagements; remote work is preferred with travel required for partner and field activities.

• Existing advisory relationships within the water or wastewater industry are a plus.

• Experience with dual-enrollment or pre-apprenticeship programs currently in operation is advantageous.

• Ability to reach rural, tribal, or underserved student populations is a plus.
