Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate delivery coordination, oversee execution, and provide cross-functional support across business, technology, operational, and enterprise initiatives.

• Assist in project planning, coordinate execution, report on delivery progress, align stakeholders, and engage in operational readiness activities.

• Ensure visibility into project health, identify risks, manage dependencies, assess sequencing impacts, and consider resource allocations.

• Contribute to governance reviews, compile project status reports, prepare materials for steering committees, and support stage-gate readiness and delivery reporting activities.

• Create and maintain project reporting documentation, including RAID documentation, milestone reports, governance summaries, project dashboards, and delivery communications.

• Collaborate with business owners, delivery leads, and operational stakeholders to ensure alignment in execution and readiness activities.

• Recognize, communicate, and escalate delivery risks, organizational impacts, dependency issues, and project constraints that require leadership attention.

• Promote delivery consistency, accountability, operational alignment, and continuous improvement across assigned initiatives.

• Assist in the adoption and operationalization of evolving governance and delivery practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4–8 years of experience in project management, enterprise delivery, PMO operations, governance support, technology delivery, business transformation, or strategic initiative coordination.

• OR an Associate’s degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience.

• OR a High School Diploma/GED with 8–12 years of related experience.

• Solid understanding of project management, delivery lifecycle management, governance practices, and operational readiness principles.

• Experience in supporting cross-functional initiatives that involve business, technology, operational, vendor, and delivery stakeholders.

• Knowledge of project planning, dependency management, execution coordination, governance reviews, risk management, and delivery reporting practices.

• Excellent organizational, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, communication, and operational alignment skills.

• Ability to identify, communicate, escalate, and assist in mitigating delivery risks, operational impacts, organizational dependencies, and resource constraints.

• Proven experience in preparing project status updates, RAID reports, governance materials, milestone reports, project dashboards, and delivery communications.

• Proficient in Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or comparable enterprise delivery and collaboration tools.

• Experience in supporting PMO, governance, or enterprise delivery functions within financial services, regulated environments, or government-sponsored enterprises is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile, Hybrid delivery, SDLC-aligned initiatives, Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), SAFe, or enterprise transformation practices is preferred.

• PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSM, or related certifications are preferred.
