Vulnerability Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of vulnerabilities in operating systems, applications, and various other assets.

• Recognize, evaluate, and prioritize vulnerabilities utilizing established industry methodologies.

• Assess the impact, severity, and risk associated with vulnerabilities, transforming this data into clear indicators to aid decision-making.

• Direct vulnerabilities to the appropriate teams and track remediation plans and timelines.

• Offer technical assistance to teams throughout the vulnerability remediation process.

• Monitor performance metrics, track service level agreements (SLAs), and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.

• Facilitate the ongoing enhancement of Vulnerability Management processes and the organization’s overall security posture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in identifying, prioritizing, and managing the lifecycle of vulnerabilities across various platforms (operating systems, applications, etc.).

• Familiarity with CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System).

• Knowledge of EPSS (Exploit Prediction Scoring System).

• Experience with SSVC (Stakeholder-Specific Vulnerability Categorization).

• Understanding of CISA KEV (Known Exploited Vulnerabilities).

• Capability to conduct thorough impact and threat analyses related to vulnerabilities and convey findings into clear, actionable risk indicators.

• Competence in assigning vulnerabilities to the appropriate teams for remediation based on technical criteria and strategic priorities.

• Ability to provide technical support to teams to facilitate their understanding and resolution of vulnerabilities.

• Proactive in engaging and following up with leadership when established mitigation or remediation deadlines are not met.
