IT Security Analyst, French Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Approvals: Serve as the gatekeeper for sensitive access and firewall rule approvals, ensuring alignment with security policies and business requirements.

• Reviews: Perform regular audits of access permissions, firewall settings, and IT infrastructure configurations (e.g., AD, Intune, Office 365, Azure) to confirm compliance with security best practices and standards.

• Architectural Review and Change Management: Evaluate and authorize all proposed modifications to the IT infrastructure, ensuring that security integrity remains intact.

• Testing: Execute vulnerability scans at both regional and laboratory levels, supervising remediation efforts. Collaborate with Group Security to enable penetration testing as needed.

• Incident Response: Aid in the investigation of security incidents and provide support for security intelligence reported by the Group Security Operations Center (SOC).

• Advisory Role: Collaborate closely with newly acquired laboratories to strengthen their security stance, utilizing internal security standards and the expertise of a Senior Security Analyst. Assess the security of both in-house and externally developed applications, offering recommendations for security improvements.

• Reporting: Assist in developing operational security Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and suggest enhancements based on data analysis and industry best practices.

• Vulnerability Management: Manage the vulnerability management process across our entire infrastructure, ensuring the timely identification, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security roles, particularly in vulnerability management, incident response, and security advisory.

• Professional certifications such as ISO27001 (lead implementer or auditor) are preferred.

• Additional certifications like CISSP, CEH, or CISM are advantageous.

• Strong understanding of IT security principles, technologies, and best practices.

• Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., vulnerability scanning tools, SIEM solutions).

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.

• Knowledge of additional languages, particularly French or Spanish, would be beneficial.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
