Senior Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a trusted senior security advisor with engineering and product teams to integrate secure-by-design principles early in the software development lifecycle.

• Conduct Cloud Security Assessments and develop robust technical security controls to proactively identify, prioritize, and address architectural vulnerabilities.

• Evaluate and challenge proposed technology solutions and architectural designs, providing authoritative guidance to continuously enhance the security maturity of our infrastructure teams.

• Advocate for secure AI adoption by assessing the data and security risks associated with emerging AI tools and workflows, ensuring their responsible deployment throughout the organization.

• Lead incident response and vulnerability management initiatives, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery efforts to protect business continuity.

• Analyze security data from our global environment to uncover trends, identify systemic weaknesses, and highlight emerging threats before they escalate into incidents.

• Optimize and manage essential security technologies—including GRC reporting and threat detection platforms—to transform external threat intelligence into actionable defense strategies.

• Oversee and deliver key strategic TechSec workstreams from inception to completion, ensuring robust governance and clear stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in an information security role, preferably within a regulated environment.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools and technologies (e.g., GRC workflow automation, endpoint protection, data loss prevention, identity and access management, security monitoring, and threat detection solutions).

• Capacity to interpret outputs from security tools and use them to inform risk decisions and remediation efforts.

• Strong analytical abilities with the capability to interpret data and support decision-making processes.

• Awareness of recent advancements in AI that have influenced information and cyber security.

• Familiarity with established frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks.
