This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the organizational representative for quality outcomes.
• Manage the feedback loop between production failures and the teams responsible for development.
• Detect quality leakage points throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Establish, monitor, and report essential quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering leadership to foster a development-oriented culture.
• Define and maintain the organizational standard for technology planning.
• Hold permanent ownership of IT operational processes.
• Manage the complete incident management lifecycle across various departments.
• Create and uphold templates for stakeholder communication and distribution standards.
• Over 10 years of experience in technology leadership.
• At least 5 years in a senior role within a high-volume enterprise setting.
• Proven experience in owning and enhancing operational processes related to incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and technology planning within organizations of 75+ engineering personnel.
• Experience in driving cultural shifts towards quality in engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to influence peers at the VP level without direct authority.
• Experience in developing communication frameworks and standards for stakeholder notifications regarding production incidents in regulated or customer-facing environments.
• A history of establishing planning cadences that continue and adapt beyond initial implementation.
