This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversees comprehensive transformation initiatives throughout the enterprise, which includes strategic scoping, development of workplans, coordination across functions, alignment with stakeholders, and reporting to executives.
• Acts as a key strategic advisor to the Chief Transformation Officer, applying consulting-level structured thinking to navigate intricate business challenges related to operations, alignment of physicians, and organizational design.
• Creates and presents strategic recommendations and executive-level deliverables (such as presentations, business cases, and memos) tailored for C-suite executives, physician leadership, and board members.
• Designs and conducts steering committees, governance forums, and cross-functional working sessions to foster alignment, eliminate obstacles, and expedite decision-making across the organization.
• Manages large-scale programs across multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring disciplined execution, tracking of milestones, risk mitigation, and establishing clear accountability frameworks.
• Structures and facilitates high-stakes negotiations and strategic discussions regarding physician alignment, funding models, partnership agreements, and organizational restructuring.
• Collaborates with operational, clinical, and functional leaders to pinpoint transformation opportunities, develop persuasive business cases, and convert strategy into sustainable operational changes.
• Advocates for change management throughout the transformation portfolio, ensuring lasting adoption of new processes, systems, governance structures, and operational practices.
• Establishes trusted relationships with physician leaders, operational executives, consulting partners, and external stakeholders to drive alignment and acceptance of transformation priorities.
• Encourages communication and collaboration among team members to foster a sense of unity within the department.
• Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A Master's degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience in management consulting at a reputable strategy or healthcare consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, L.E.K., Deloitte, Guidehouse, Huron, ECG, or similar).
• Experience on the healthcare provider side, particularly in health systems, physician enterprises, academic medical centers, or radiology/imaging organizations.
• Familiarity with physician compensation design, provider alignment strategies, professional services agreements, or hospital-physician negotiations.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle operations, M&A integration, value-based care models, or structures related to managed services organizations (MSOs).
• Board service or advisory experience within healthcare organizations.
• Experience in corporate strategy or healthcare transformation, demonstrating progression into senior leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead complex, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives from inception through implementation in healthcare or provider organizations.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-workstream programs with disciplined execution, milestone tracking, and reporting at the executive level.
• Experience in developing and delivering strategic recommendations to C-suite executives, physician leadership, and board-level audiences.
• Strong structured problem-solving abilities to break down ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable workstreams and guide cross-functional teams toward resolution.
• Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, provider organizational models, physician alignment strategies, value-based care, and revenue cycle operations.
• Understanding of management consulting frameworks and structured methodologies for problem-solving.
• Proficiency in executive-level communication, strategic program management, cross-functional facilitation, and producing consulting-quality deliverables.
• Skill in building and presenting business cases, financial frameworks, and strategic recommendations to senior audiences.
• Capability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
• Ability to cultivate trust and credibility with physician leaders, C-suite executives, and external partners.
• Skill in translating complex strategic concepts into actionable implementation plans.
