This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.
• Provide consistent high-quality customer service and ensure traveller satisfaction.
• Lead and oversee the well-being of our travellers.
• Continuously enhance your understanding of the destination country, including its culture, religion, current events, and environment.
• Have in-depth knowledge of accommodations, attractions, dining options, transportation, souvenirs, pricing, and more.
• Cultivate a network of information sources and contacts to assist when needed.
• Maintain a valid passport and visa at all times.
• Ensure that vaccinations and preventive medications are current.
• Remain alert to potential opportunities for G Adventures, such as new destinations, CEOs, markets, or improving itineraries.
• Serve as the daily guide, interpreter, and group manager.
• Address traveller issues and concerns directly, ensuring passenger satisfaction is achieved effectively.
• Strive to adhere closely to the established travel itinerary, making adjustments only when absolutely necessary.
• Handle reservations for lodging, transportation, and activities as needed.
• Assist and accompany travellers during optional activities and meals.
• Recommend suitable restaurants, additional transportation needs, and souvenir purchases.
• Keep daily expenditure records, retain receipts, and manage expenses within the provided trip budget.
• Compile a report for each trip in the specified format.
• Update Trip notes in the standardized format regularly.
• Train new Leaders as needed, sharing as much trip-related knowledge as possible.
• Possess a valid Guiding License and First Aid/CPR Certification.
• A Passion for Adventure Travel: We seek individuals who have a true enthusiasm for exploring vibrant and exciting regions of the world.
• Previous experience living, travelling, studying, or working abroad is essential for this role.
• Language proficiency: As all G Adventures tours are conducted in English, a strong command of the English language is required.
• Region-specific language skills are also highly valuable.
• Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: We look for candidates with leadership experience and a proven ability to communicate effectively across various contexts.
• Resourcefulness: We need CEOs who are level-headed and can remain composed and collected in unpredictable and stressful situations.
• Commitment to Sustainable Tourism: Our CEOs should be dedicated to environmentally and culturally responsible tourism and serve as inspiring examples to travellers.
• Good Health and High Energy Levels: While it may seem obvious, we require CEOs who can cope with the daily mental and physical stresses of long, demanding days.
• First Aid/CPR Certification: CEOs must be prepared to respond to emergencies.
• Background in basic accounting/budgeting: Experience with budgets or personal budgeting is a plus.
• Computer literacy: Proficiency in the Internet, Email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Access to support through various Team Resource Groups.
