This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Generate a network pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship building.
• Identify, implement, and manage the Recruiting CRM for ULG.
• Schedule over 3 qualified presentations weekly for Senior Leadership.
• Qualify prospects sourced from outbound efforts or inbound marketing initiatives.
• Increase attendance from MSA and Loan Officers both within and outside our West Coast footprint.
• Exhibit self-starter qualities while effectively collaborating across functions when necessary.
• Source MSA relationships and identify Production candidates.
• Collaborate with ULG Leadership to establish sourcing priorities and define targets.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with both internal and external recruiters at ULG and University Bank.
• Identify and pursue MSA opportunities where ULG operates.
• Conduct consistent follow-up with managers to assess needs, plans, and the implementation of MSA and candidates in designated market areas.
• Build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Research and suggest new proactive candidate sourcing methods.
• Conduct pre-screen interviews utilizing various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods.
• Schedule interviews and ensure timely follow-up with ULG Leadership.
• Represent the University Lending Group brand with professionalism.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in the mortgage-related field, ideally in sales management or recruiting.
• Comprehensive understanding of mortgage and home equity products, along with GSE underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to maintain and nurture positive relationships with customers and business partners.
• Complete all assigned training promptly.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Essential sales, leadership, and management skills.
• Required experience in mortgage origination.
• Sales-driven, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a robust desire to succeed.
• Excellent customer service skills and follow-up abilities.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, a strong team player, and self-motivated.
• Proficient in the use of Ellie Mae Encompass/Modex and Motivity.
• Experience in running production reports.
• Proficient in MS Word, Modex, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Ability to create PDF files using company-provided Adobe software.
• Capable of managing highly confidential information.
