This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Create and implement the comprehensive sales and business development strategy for the Construction Technology division, encompassing SaaS, hardware, and robotics solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team of directors and their teams, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and ongoing improvement.
• Establish clear performance objectives, KPIs, and expectations for all direct reports and their teams.
• Act as a vital member of the executive leadership team, aiding in company-wide strategy and decision-making.
• Take ownership of and achieve ambitious revenue, growth, and profitability targets across all product lines and customer segments.
• Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, including untapped markets, strategic partnerships, and emerging technologies.
• Supervise the development and execution of commercialization strategies for new products, including robotics and IoT solutions.
• Propel customer acquisition, retention, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives in collaboration with Sales and Customer Experience teams.
• Advocate for a customer-centric culture, ensuring exceptional support, onboarding, and ongoing value realization for all clients.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to harmonize business development and sales strategies with product roadmaps and market demands.
• Establish and maintain strong, transparent relationships with customers and industry partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or customer success within technology-driven industries (construction technology, SaaS, robotics, or related fields).
• Strong familiarity with MSUITE or similar platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience in the commercial construction industry, pre-fabrication, and a solid understanding of the procurement of tools, anchors, and accessories is a plus.
• More than 5 years of senior leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and director-level reports in high-growth, innovative environments.
• A proven history of meeting and surpassing revenue and growth objectives.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with a demonstrated ability to manage complex escalations and negotiate high-value contracts.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in the commercialization of new technologies and go-to-market strategies.
• Proficient in enterprise sales, account-based marketing, and customer success best practices.
• Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%).
