This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and develop Vanta's Professional Services function from inception, creating delivery methodologies, service offerings, pricing models, and team structures.
• Create scalable service packages tailored for all customer segments, implementing distinct strategies for high-touch enterprise clients and efficient delivery for mid-market.
• Implement a repeatable, measurable service process that facilitates onboarding, implementation, and enablement throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Design and introduce innovative service offerings that are closely aligned with Vanta's product roadmap.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team. Develop career frameworks, onboarding initiatives, and continuous training to cultivate a world-class services team.
• Own and expand a new Professional Services revenue stream, encompassing scoping, SOW negotiations, and service bookings across all customer segments.
• Collaborate extensively with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions, and Channel & Alliances to ensure smooth transitions from presales to post-sales and aligned customer outcomes across both direct and partner-led initiatives.
• Build and direct a partner services program that serves as a strategic link between Vanta's Professional Services function and our wider network of resellers, service partners, distributors, and auditors.
• 10+ years in SaaS Professional Services or consulting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position at a rapidly growing software and/or AI company.
• Proven experience as a builder: you have successfully hired, structured, and developed Professional Services organizations from the ground up and understand what excellence looks like at every level.
• Strong background in managing services revenue, with expertise in scoping, pricing, and selling professional services engagements, including SOWs, change orders, and renewals.
• AI-forward mindset: you actively leverage AI tools to enhance team productivity and delivery quality, and you have experience with (or have developed) AI-enabled workflows in a services or customer-facing setting.
• Solid operational skills: you create processes, implement tools, and utilize data to inform decision-making.
• Executive presence with the capability to navigate complex enterprise customer relationships and serve as a credible partner to C-suite executives.
• Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks (such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.) and the ability to translate these into customer-facing delivery strategies.
• Familiarity with key platforms within the compliance and security ecosystem (including AWS, Okta, Azure/EntraID, GCP, Jira, etc.).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Responsible for safeguarding Vanta and customer data in the operations and results delivered by your team.
• Open to utilizing AI to enhance their skills and effectiveness, demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
